职位描述: SUMMARY TheQualityManagerisresponsibleforday-to-daymanagementofthequalitydepartmentattheZhuhaiChinafacility.TheManageristoensurethatCorporateGoalsaremetandthatqualityprocessesareembeddedthroughoutthisfacility.TheManagerisresponsibleforensuringthatthequalitydepartmentisprofessionallystaffed,trainedandeffective,thatCompanypoliciesandproceduresarebeingfollowed,andthatresultsandissuesarecommunicatedtoseniormanagersinatimelyfashion.TheQualityManagerwillworkeffectivelywithcustomersandsuppliers(internalandexternal). DevelopandmaintainacomprehensivequalitymanagementsysteminaccordancewithISO9000,AS9100andallapplicablequalityrequirementsasdefinedbytheGovernment,ourcustomers,andthosecompaniesforwhomwecompanieswedistributeproduct. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILLS(Needed/desiredforthisPosition) ?AnundergraduatedegreepreferablyinEngineering,withanMBAoradvancededucationbeinghighlydesirable;orequivalentworkexperienceof7-10yearsinaqualitymanagementrole.?Previoussuccessinmanagingamulti-functionQualitystaff.?PersonallyauthoredextensiveISOandgeneralQualityDocumentation.?AhistoryofsuccessfulrelationshipswithhighlevelQualityprofessionalsatbothsuppliersandcustomers.?Experiencedhiring,managing,andtrainingQualitystaff. TECHNICALand/orMANAGERIALJOBCOMPETENCIES–(SpecificJobProficienciesandSkills) ?AcomprehensiveknowledgeofISO9000.OthercertificationssuchasAS9100,QS9000aplus.?AfundamentalunderstandingofQualityasapartofeveryactivity.?FamiliaritywithQualityprocesstoolssuchasSPC,LeanSixSigma,orTOC.?FamiliaritywithGovernmentandIndustrycomplianceprocedures. ESSENTIALTASKSANDRESPONSIBILITIES(Otherdutiesmaybeassigned.) ?ManageQualitypersonnelandprogramsforZhuhai,Chinafacility. ?ImplementAS9100/ISO9001:2008Registration?WorkwithDirectorofTrainingtoinsurethatallemployeesaretrainedinQualityprocesses.?ImproveentireQualityprocessofcableassemblyunitsothatitisonparwithourconnectorassemblyprocess.?OptimizethespeedofQualityfunctiontomeet/exceedspeedofproductionprocesses.?StaycurrentonallcomplianceregulationsaffectingPEI.?OverseecorrectapplicationofHarmonizedTariffCodes,RoHS,andWEEinformationfromsuppliers.?OverseeallChinesecomplianceregulations.
